The UVSS is a hardware-software based system for under vehicle surveillance. The system creates a database of high-resolution undercarriage images using area scan technology and detects and records vehicle licence plates and driver images.
Each of the undercarriage images, licence plates and driver facial image is automatically compared to a database (change/anomaly identification and alert) to confirm safe onward passage or otherwise.
The zNose is a blend of standard and new technology. Stage one is separation of the sample - this is done using a miniaturised coil and high-powered heating element.
Once the compound are separated, the exit the column and land on the sound acoustic wave sensor (SAW) which measures the molecular weight of each compound and, using the Kovats retention index, determines which compound it is.
The zNose is able to identify all compounds in a single sample simultaneously, and detects the amount of each identified compound in the sample.
All of this takes around 180 seconds, including sensor bake off after each sample cycle.
The zNose is available as an entry-level line-powered bench-top model (Model 7100) through to the portable Model 4300 and the system-controller incorporated Model 4650 which included a pre-loaded library of compounds for unskilled operator use.
As standard for this product the MOQ is five (5) pieces, this is primarily because of freight costs, however we are happy to entertain smaller orders on a case by case basis.
